Product Manager

We are looking for a  Product Managerand Product owner who will provide direction for the communications numbering strategy. This exciting role is responsible for the development of a product vision, user personas, the articulation of the value proposition and the assessment of competitiveness and health of the product.

This position reports to the Director of Identity and Trust and is a member of the Product Team. As a member of the team, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate ability to innovate, collaborate, be result oriented and a problem-solver in a fast-paced organization.
  

  • Work collaboratively with partners in Sales, R&D and PLM to develop marketing and messaging strategies and strategic roadmap plans.
  • Analyze market and competitive conditions, laying out a vision that is differentiated and delivers outstanding value based on customer demands.
  • Clearly articulate portfolio strategies and business value to the entire organization so the intent behind new product categories is clear.
  • Engage with Sales, Customer Units and Customers to educate on portfolio vision and strategies and the value proposition of the message portfolio.
  • Identify and develop compelling ideas for the portfolio’s future development that can be articulated and rationalized with proof points to the organization.
  • Run or participate in cross-functional and cross business line strategy projects.
  • Coordinate definition, alignment, approval and tracking of the Objectives and Key Result framework that guides all Portfolio and Product Management activities.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in software as a service  with demonstrated experience in market driven new product initiatives with business cases; plus driving to success criteria in accordance with a “agile process” for providing software products and solutions.
  • 4+ years industry experience with communications fraud detection and voice/text routing technologies such as least cost routing is desirable.
  • Strong business development skills and prior success partnering with data providers for voice and text routing.
  • Must possess excellent written communication and presentation skills and business acumen.
  • The ability to travel up to 25% or as required by this position is a must.
