Detecting, Preventing and Mitigating Fraud on Expanding Service Provider Networks
Anaheim, Calif., March 13, 2017 - iconectiv, an authoritative partner of the global communications industry connecting more than two billion people every day, has announced that Chip Stevens, Director of Product Management, will deliver an opening day keynote address on Detecting, Preventing, and Mitigating Fraudulent Activity on Carrier Networks at the Communications Fraud Control Association (CFCA) Winter Educational Event taking place March 14-16, in Anaheim, California.
Stevens will shed light on the critical solutions required to meet the challenges and vulnerabilities of ever-expanding networks confronting the global communications industry.
“As networks grow more complex, service providers often find themselves unprepared for the sophisticated fraudulent attacks that target their infrastructure and subscriber base,” Stevens said. “Fortunately, the latest anti-fraud deployments from telecom innovators proactively identify and neutralize threats long before they can threaten subscribers or disrupt network ecosystems.”
With more than 20 years of experience in the mobile security and risk field, Stevens is responsible for carrier revenue assurance solutions at iconectiv, which includes the company’s fraud and identity offers. Prior to his position at iconectiv, Stevens served as the Product Manager at VeriSign Communication Services.
Attendees to the CFCA event will include fraud and asset protection professionals from service providers, law enforcement agencies and other organizations. Stevens is scheduled to speak at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14 at the Disneyland Hotel.
The CFCA is the premier international association dedicated to enhancing revenue assurance, loss prevention and fraud control through education and information.
